1. Saturday February 1st
The event will start at 1 p.m. at Natural Grocers (in their meeting room)
110 W. University Drive.
*This is an informational event that will cover much of the same material covered at the Denia meeting. Lots of folks could not make it, so we are doing it again. We will also provide information there about some next steps.

2. Tuesday February 4th
City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers
215 E. McKinney St. (next to the post office).

Several people from the Vintage/S. Bonnie area are going to give citizens' reports (4 minutes each) at the start of this meeting. They will be discussing their concerns and frustrations and they will ask City Council to implement a moratorium on drilling and fracking until the ordinance can be repaired. It would be great if we could have a big turnout to support them. Once we see the agenda, there may be a chance for others to speak to this issue...and I have heard some folks may be planning an event of some sort just prior to the meeting. I will post again about those aspects once I get more info.

Come and learn about the gas drilling which is being conducted by EagleRidge Energy  in our area.

There will be presentations on the history and policy contexts of fracking in Denton, health impacts, and information about how to get involved.
